Hi, I’m Jig Ruparel Principal Solutions Architect at Aryaka.
Today I’m going to review MyAryaka, the visibility portal for our global SD-WAN as a service.
MyAryaka is included as part of every Aryaka service and solution. MyAryaka is a powerful, web-based management and analytics portal It provides real-time, contextual insight into your network and applications. With this, you can perform complete configuration, monitoring, correlation, and reporting capabilities – in real-time, across edge, access, as well as the core private network.
Additionally, you can conduct traffic analysis or run customizable network health reports.
So, let’s take a closer look.
When you first log in, you come to the CIO dashboard.
Here you can view:
All this helps you better understand your network and what is occurring over it.
It also gives you a topology view of your global network. You can look at the topology view in a logical diagram, or you can look at it geographically, where you can view the locations of your site and the connectivity. You can also click on an individual site to see the various links that it has to the other locations.
In this case, the customer is using full mesh environment with the Aryaka solution.
Now let’s get into the details of our monitoring. When you click on the monitor tab, it give you the ability to look at traffic by apps, allowing you to select your locations as well as the time frame for which you want to look at the traffic.
You can also look at traffic for all locations. And as well as you can select individual applications and how much bandwidth they might be using compared to all applications.
Let’s click “Apply” here to take a quick look of the San Jose site over the last 24 hours. The first chart shows you LAN traffic, which is raw, pre-optimized traffic, and in the next chart it shows you optimized traffic which is compressed. With these two charts, you can clearly see the benefits of Aryaka’s patented optimization technologies that exist within our software-defined networking platform. That greatly helps you with capacity planning as well as new site turn-ups.
You can look at latency at each edge of the Aryaka service. You can look at it on the first mile, you can look at it on the last mile, as well as the middle mile. So in this case, you can look at the performance between the San Jose Aryaka POP to the Beijing Aryaka POP: rock-solid latency between the two data centers and our core network.
You can also see compression benefits not only for all applications, but once again on a per application basis as well. It gives you health information on TCP as well as network statistics such as packet loss or TCP sends, TCP resets, as well as a high-level view or all your applications traversing your network for a given site, giving you a pie-chart view into the usage of various applications of your network environment.
You can look at the configurations for each of your individual sites, ANAP inventory, serial numbers, QoS policies that you have given to us, and the configuration within the Aryaka system, optimization rules, as well as your users that exist on the portal that have access to the MyAryaka Visibility Portal.
Finally, you can look at the status of each site, whether they’re up or down, as well as any sort of statistics that may exist for in relation to packet loss. There’s also routing table summary, as well as the ANAP status that you may have at your site.
There is so much more to MyAryaka. I invite and encourage you to explore more about what MyAryaka Visibility Portal can do for your global SD-WAN.
