Aryaka has announced that networking industry veteran Claudio Perugini has joined the company’s leadership team as Senior Vice President of Global Channels. In his new role, Perugini will lead and further scale Aryaka’s global partner program.

Greg Orr now serves as vice president of sales for the Americas for the San Mateo, California-based Aryaka Networks. Orr is the third major hire by Aryaka in the last two months to have worked with Big Switch Networks and Gigamon.

SD-WAN solutions have been making inroads into the enterprise by delivering application performance improvements, reducing network complexity at branch offices, and reducing costs in some cases, but buyer beware: There are two primary underlying connectivity options, and application response times for one are four times better than the other.
