Shailesh Shukla
Chief Executive Officer
Shailesh is the CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors at Aryaka. Most recently, at Google, he built a fast-growing multi-billion-dollar business in Cloud Networking, Security and Telecom as the VP/GM. Shailesh has deep roots in Silicon Valley, in senior leadership roles in startups and at-scale companies. In the startup world, Shailesh helped raise $140M as the Chief Operating Officer at Instart Logic, a fast-growing startup ranked #1 startup to work for in America by Glassdoor and Business Insider. In addition to Google, Shailesh was Vice President and General Manager of several multi-billion dollar routing businesses at Cisco Systems. He has also helped in leadership roles at Neustar, Redback Networks and Juniper Networks.
Before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area 22 years ago, Shailesh was a management consultant based in Boston at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver-Wyman) and Booz-Allen. He started his career as a software engineer at Sprint Corporation in Kansas City.
Shailesh holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas, and an MBA (SM) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
He has previously served on the Boards of Openwave Mobility, Telica Systems, @Home Solutions, Bay.org, BITSAA Silicon Valley, and Merlin Systems. Shailesh is a Charter member of TiE and advises/invests in multiple startup companies.
Darin McAreavey
Chief Financial Officer
Darin brings over 20 years of experience to Aryaka as a senior accounting and financial professional. Most recently, Darin was EVP and CFO at Arcserve, while earlier roles included CFO at Stellent, a NASDAQ-listed software company that was sold to Oracle in 2006, Cachet Financial Solutions, Wireless Ronin Technologies, and Computer Network Technology. Darin holds an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and is a member of the Minnesota State Society for Certified Public Accountants.
Renuka Nadkarni
Chief Product Officer
Renuka Nadkarni is a security veteran with 20 years of experience building new businesses startups or new businesses at large, publicly traded companies. Before joining Aryaka, she held CTO, Security position at F5 Inc. where she was instrumental in driving F5’s foray into the security market. Previously, she has held various positions and built cutting-edge cloud and security products and launching new businesses at F5, VMware, Infoblox and launching startups. She holds an MS in Electric Engineering from the University of Houston and a BS in Electric Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
Ken Rutsky
Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Ken is responsible for worldwide marketing strategy, programs and execution to build Aryaka’s leadership position and go to market success. Ken is a Silicon Valley marketing leader with a proven ability to build categories and brands and drive business growth. His experience spans industry giants like Intel, Netscape and McAfee, where he drove the marketing that put the Secure Web Gateway business on a trajectory to grow from $50 million to over $300 million in just three years. Prior to joining Aryaka, Ken ran a successful go to market consulting practice where he helped create over $15 billion in market valuation including IPOs and successful exits for over a dozen clients.
Chris Ranalli
Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, Chris is responsible for developing and implementing Aryaka’s global sales & partner strategy supporting the company’s ambitious growth plans. Chris brings over 25 years of experience building and leading high-performing GTM teams at industry leaders like Verizon, Oracle, RSA, and Imperva. Before Aryaka, Chris was Chief Revenue Officer at Hyperscience, an AI-powered automation company, where he was responsible for GTM and Customer Experience.
Pam Holmberg
Chief People Officer
As Chief People Officer, Pam is responsible for developing and implementing Aryaka’s global talent strategy to attract, retain, and develop top talent to support the company’s ambitious growth plans. Pam brings over 20 years of experience building and leading high-performing HR teams at industry leaders like Realtor.com, Veritas Technologies, Pivotal, and NetApp. Before Aryaka, Pam was Head of People at ThoughtSpot, an AI-powered analytics company, where she was responsible for recruiting, HR operations, business partnering and employee engagement.
Farzad Tari
SVP of Corporate and Business Development
As SVP of Corporate and Business Development, Farzad is responsible expanding Aryaka’s strategic partnerships and ecosystem and accelerating its go-to-market strategy. Farzad is a seasoned Business and Corporate Development executive with a 30-year track record of success in building strategic partnerships, driving channel programs, executing M&A transactions and unlocking shareholder value through successful exits. In his career Farzad has spearheaded billions of dollars of transactions including two IPOs, six strategic exits, and over 300 strategic partnerships, on behalf of industry leaders like Check Point, Imperva, F5 and Cisco.
Christiana Khostovan
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Christiana Khostovan is the General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Human Resources Officer at Aryaka. She oversees all legal, regulatory, and HR functions including corporate governance and securities, commercial transactions, employment, IP, privacy, and litigation. Christiana joined Aryaka from Revel Systems where she was General Counsel, Corporate Secretary,and Head of Global HR. Prior to Revel, she was at Franklin Templeton Companies, LLC where she served as SVP and Chief Legal Officer supporting 150 entities, 11,000 employees, in 42 countries for over 17 years. Christiana is admitted to The State Bar of California, The United States District Court for the Northern District of California, The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and has practiced before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She has also served on various corporate and charitable boards including Golden Gate University School of Law and Crystal Springs Uplands School.
Srini Addepalli
Chief Technology Officer
Srini Addepalli is a security and Edge computing expert with 25+ years of experience. Before joining Aryaka, Srini was at Intel, where he incubated multiple open source edge computing and security initiatives including Service Mesh, cloud native SASE framework, Distributed HSM and Multi Edge/Cloud orchestration technologies. Before Intel, he held the Fellow position at Freescale and CTO position at Intoto Inc. As part of Intoto, which was acquired by Freescale, he is instrumental in leading the development of Gateway and UTM (Unified Threat Management) product lines. Srini has multiple patents in networking and security technologies. He holds a BE (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani in India.
Vikas Garg
Chief Engineering & Cloud Operations Officer
Vikas Garg is the Chief Engineering & Cloud Operations Officer at Aryaka Networks. Vikas has more than 20 years of experience in Computer Networking with more than 10 years of design, development and management experience in the CDN industry. Previously, Vikas was the Vice President of Engineering at CDNetworks, heading their global research and development efforts. He was the Vice President of Engineering & Operations at Speedera Networks, prior to its acquisition by Akamai Technologies. At Speedera, Vikas helped to build one of the largest Content Delivery Networks in the industry. Before that, Vikas held senior engineering development and management roles at Wave Systems, Distinct Corporation, Microsoft, and Punjab Wireless Systems.
Vikas holds several patents in the area of Content Distribution Networks, Cloud Computing and Global Traffic Management.
Vikas holds dual graduate degrees, in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, and in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama. Vikas received his undergraduate degree in Electronics from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, India.
Vidyaranya Maddi
Senior Vice President Of Global Delivery & Support
Seasoned IT leader with more than 25 years of experience who has seen, innovated and influenced the compute/networking industry from the Mainframes to today’s cloud/SaaS world. He has played leadership roles in both start-ups and large enterprises with a unique skill of creating a customer first culture, drive innovation at the speed of change without losing sight of corporate vision. He has been working with Aryaka for more than 8 years as VP of Customer Support and Service Delivery.
